Before you begin:

  1. Make sure you have a backup of all your important data.
  2. Make sure you have a Windows installation media such as a DVD or USB drive.

Step 1: Boot from Windows installation media

  1. Insert the Windows installation media into your computer's DVD drive or USB port.
  2. Restart your computer and boot from the Windows installation media.
  3. Press any key when prompted to start the installation process.

Step 2: Open Command Prompt
